Lola Marie Guthery

Private family graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at the Evergreen Cemetery, Minco, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle, OK.

Lola Marie Guthery, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020 in Tuttle, Oklahoma at the age of 102.  She was born October 6, 1917 in Verden, Oklahoma to Robert Sylvester and Jane Elizabeth (Rowland) Roper.

Lola married Charley Guthery in August of 1934 in Verden, Oklahoma.  She had lived in Grady County practically all her life.  She and Charley had farmed in the Tuttle area and she had worked at the Tuttle Care Center for 10 years.

She was a member of the Tuttle First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charley Guthery; an infant son, Jerry Wayne Guthery; brothers: Ralph, Paul and Robert Roper; sisters: Nellie Jones and Edna Chism.

Lola is survived by her daughter, Betty McBride of Tuttle, OK;

Her sons:  Charles Guthery of Tuttle, Oklahoma and Tommy Guthery and his wife, Millie, of Sandia, TX;

6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren;

And her sister, Anna Bell Johanson of Denver, CO.
