Lois Holder

Lois Marie Holder, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at her home in Chickasha.  She was born May 15, 1937 in Hammon, Oklahoma to Buel Albert and Dorothy Alice (Hammond) Darnell.

Lois graduated from Ninnekah High School in 1955.  She married Dennis Holder on June 9, 1956 in Chickasha and to this union 3 children were born: Denetta, Bill and Gary.  She worked several years as a seamstress.  She was a Girl Scout Leader, ran concession stand for the CHS Band from 1972-1975.  She retired from Delta Faucet after 20+ years.

She volunteered for the Food Pantry and Crisis Center and a member of the Busy Hands Quilting group.  She attended church all her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis Holder and her son, Gary Holder.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Denetta Still and her husband, Randy, of Ninnekah, OK;

Son, Bill Holder and his wife, Vivian, of Chickasha, OK;

Brother, Albert Darnell and his wife, Marilyn, of Alex, OK;

Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
