Leta May Wallace

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022, at Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Leta May Wallace, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 88. She was born October 29, 1933 in Port, Oklahoma to Clarence Wolfe and Hazel (Godfrey) Wolfe.

Leta was born in Port, Oklahoma and attended Elk City public schools. She married, Dean Wallace, in 1949. Together they had two sons, Michael and Dennis. They settled in Chickasha, where Leta and Dean raised their sons. Leta was a hairdresser and worked on the family farm. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Hazel Wolfe; husband, Dean Wallace; and son, Michael Dean Wallace.

Leta is survived by her son, Dennis Wallace; grandchildren, Preston Matthew Wallace, Mark Masters Wallace, and Candice Channel Westbrook; great-grandchildren, Devon Westbrook, Blake Westbrook, Wyatt Wallace, Aubrey Wallace, Hunter Browning, Hadley Wallace; and daughter-in-law Maggie Wallace, as well as many other loved ones.
