Lenford Don Austin Jr.

Buster will be laid to rest in a graveside service at Fairview Cemetery on February 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Lenford Don Austin, Jr "Buster" passed away on February 18 ^th , 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 68.  He was born on February 14, 1954 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Margaret and Lenford Don Austin, Sr.

Buster was the second oldest of six siblings and grew up in various states due to his father's military service.  He settled in Bridge Creek, Oklahoma and loved his land.  He enjoyed life outdoors and spent much of his time fishing, working in his garden, tinkering on his land, flying remote control airplanes, and spending time with his various animals throughout the years.  He loved watching western movies and shows, building models, and telling stories to whoever was close enough to listen and laugh.

He is preceded in death by his mother Margaret, father Don Sr, grandfathers, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his longtime partner Dorothy Cole of Newcastle; sons Robert Austin of Wilburton, Charles Austin of Springfield, Missouri, and Jeremy Austin of Nixa, Missouri; sisters Beverly Austin of Purcell, Cindy Duffey and her husband Patrick of Moore, Rosetta Godwin and her husband Timothy of Purcell, Rhonda Trana and her husband Richard of Odessa, Texas, and Renee Austin of Tahlequah; grandchildren Brylee, Kaytlyn, Charlie Sue, Amanda, Ariana, Becky, Kylie and Summer; and various cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
