Lee Mcbride

Lee McBride was born April 8, 1933 in Tuttle, Oklahoma to Fred and Savannah (Rowell) McBride.  He passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 83.

Lee was born and raised in Tuttle. He joined the Army served during the Korean War from 1953 to 1955.  He married Betty Ann Guthery on April 23, 1955 in Chickasha, OK.  They lived in Oklahoma City for a short while before moving to Tuttle where they have lived since.  He was a supervisor at C.R. Anthony's Clothing store and retired in 1996.

Lee is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sandra Ann McBride; 3 sisters: Mary Holsey, Suzie Canary and Sarah Definbaugh; and 2 brothers: Pat and Jack McBride.

He is survived by his wife, Betty McBride of Tuttle, OK;

2 sons:  Tony McBride of Oklahoma City, OK;

Wayne McBride and his wife, Donna, of El Reno, OK;

3 grandchildren:  Shawn, Shane, and Dustin McBride

10 great-grandchildren

2 brothers:  Jim McBride and Myrl McBride both of Oklahoma City, OK

Mother-in-law:  Lola Marie Guthery of Tuttle, OK.
