Larry Ray Mann was born May 10, 1953, to parents, Bobby Ray and Joyce Ruth Mann in Oklahoma City, OK. He passed away surrounded by his family, on January 19, 2024, in Oklahoma City, OK.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 22, 2024, at Sevier Funeral Home Chapel in Tuttle, OK. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel, Tuttle, OK from 2-4 p.m. and Monday, January 22, 2024, before the service.
Larry spent the first few years of his life in Oklahoma City, OK before his family moved to Tuttle, OK. He attended school at Tuttle, where in High School he played Basketball, Baseball, and ran Track, he also played tuba in the High School marching band. Where one year he won Band King, Larry graduated from Tuttle High School in 1971. After graduating he moved to Oklahoma City, OK, where he took several college classes. Larry then moved up to Tulsa, OK where he worked construction for several years before moving to Minco, OK and worked as a welder.
Larry loved to fish and would fish anytime he was able to. Another of his favorite things was watching the Green Bay Packers football team. He would never miss a game. He also loved to bowl, and when he lived in the Putnam City area would always watch the High School team play football. The library was another of his favorite places to go where he would go do his research as he called it and read various books on history which were his favorite. Larry was also incredibly talented when it came to art and his creativity was second to none.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Joyce Mann; sister, Cheryl Albers; and nephew, Bradley Holding.
Larry is survived by his son, Josh Bouse (Lori) of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Kaelyn and Katy; sisters, Carol Gravlee (Jerry) of Oklahoma City, OK, Linda Trotter (Rick) of Midlothian, TX, and Merrell Havens of Alvaton, KY; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and family.
