Larry Bookout

Larry V. Bookout, 69, of Columbus, Texas, passed away on December 5, 2024 in Columbus, Texas.

He was born on July 26, 1955 to Charles Franklin Bookout and Alta Louise (Rex) Bookout in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. On April 19, 1974 he married Tina Lynn Taylor.

Larry worked as an architect in commercial design and construction for many years. He worked the past seven years with Drymalla construction and retired recently.  He spent time in the Marines and served in Vietnam.

Larry enjoyed OU Football, Nascar racing and hunting.

Larry is survived by his wife of fifty years, Tina Bookout; sons Travis A. Bookout and wife Angie of Buda and Nathan C. Bookout and wife Alyssa of Columbus; half-brother Mark Bookout of Norman, Oklahoma; grandchildren Sean Bookout, Mitchell Bookout, Addison Bookout, and Logan Bookout.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Alta Bookout.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
