Kurley Keith Hunter was born January 28, 1940 in Chickasha, OK to Kurley and Emma (Cooper) Hunter. He passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at his home in Chickasha at the age of 75. Kurley graduated from Chickasha High School and then attended college at Oklahoma State University. He worked as a contractor in Arizona and was a truck driver. Kurley took over the running of the Ranch House Motel in Chickasha, upon the death of his father, and owned and operated it for the last several years. He married Joy Lee Conrad on January 29, 1998. They enjoyed going to the "Big Rodeos" in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Guymon, Oklahoma. He enjoyed listening to Bob Willis and the Texas Playboys. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kurley and Emma Hunter. Kurley is survived by his wife, Joy Hunter of the home 2 daughters: Elizabeth Ann Denton and Mary Kay Taylor 2 stepdaughters: Tonya Smith and her husband, James Traca Conrad A sister, Margie Bell and her husband, Don Many grandchildren and several great grandchildren
