Kenneth "Bud" R. Bozarth

Kenneth R. (Bud) Bozarth passed away August 12, 2020at the age of 85.  Bud was born in Tuttle, OK. to Andrew and Mamie Bozarth on June 13 ^th 1935 where he continued to live most of his life.

He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1957 and served in Germany for two years during the Cold War.  At a very young age he began his working career employed by Wilson Foods in Oklahoma City. Bud retired from the meat packing industry after 30 years of faithful service.

He is best remembered for his love of Corvette's, hunting, fishing and bird watching. He also enjoyed drinking a hot cup of coffee with his friends and new aquaintances at the Liberty Drug Store in Chickasha. He enjoyed yard work and especially planting a big garden so he could share the produce with his friends and family.  His wife Shirley appreciated how he brightened her day with his humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Betty Jean (Bozarth) Garrett.

He is survived by wife Shirley Bozarth;

a daughter Audrey O'Toole and husband Rick;

two sons: Buddy Don Bozarth and Bobby Joe Bozarth and wife Sherry;

as well as ten grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

He also is survived by 4 siblings: Pat (Bozarth) Johnson and husband Elmer; Connie (Bozarth) Porter and husband Lee; Glenda (Bozarth) Gore, Roger Bozarth and wife Gloria;

brother-in-law Melvin Garrett and by special family friend Marquita Byars and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be officiated by Pastor Larry Steverson at Heritage Family Baptist Church 600 N. Mustang Road in Tuttle on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 10:00 am. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, OK following the services under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle, OK.
