Kay Thornburg

Edwana Kay Thornburg, of Chickasha, OK, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at home in Chickasha at the age of 67.   She was born September 20, 1951 in Chickasha, OK to Dennis Edwin and Delia Faye (Rainwater) Cook.

Kay grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School.  She had worked at Pet, Inc. for several years and later water worked at USAO as an environmental engineer, retiring several years ago.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Larry Joe Cook.

Kay is survived by her children:  Kevin Thornburg and his wife, Tasha;

Brandy Ainsworth and her husband, Aaron;

and Jeff Thornburg and his wife, Brooke Goddard;

7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild;

and a brother, Johnny Cook.
