Kathleen Delores Hunt, age 66, known by "Sally" to her family & friends, passed away peacefully at her home on February 18, 2025. Sally was born on May 11, 1958, to Robert Mosby and Joyce Mosby, in Santa Paula, CA.

She retired from Hermetic Switch in 2023 after 41 years of service. Sally lived life to the fullest. Her favorite saying was "it is what it is" and she said it to the very end. She enjoyed time at the lake with family and friends playing around on her jet ski. She loved fishing and traveling. Her all-time favorite trip was when she and her family went to Hawaii to visit her mother-in-law and how hard it was to come back to Oklahoma, but she came back, only because she had her rottweiler at home and he wasn't happy being left behind. Of course, they had a dog sitter but after their first week away he was taking an attitude with the dog sitter, so after two weeks she knew they had to get home.

Sally was preceded in death by both parents and her brother, Robert O. Mosby. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth A. Hunt of the home, her daughter, Christina K. Hunt of Oklahoma City, along with her lifelong friend of 44 years, Doreen Darling; and friend, Gwen Black whom she had the pleasure of working with while at Hermetic Switch.

A life celebration for family and friends will be scheduled at a later date.

Afterglow by Helen Lowrie Marshall

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun; of happy memories that I leave behind when life is done.
