Kaaren Lee Berry

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel.

Kaaren Berry was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world unexpectedly at the age of 82.

Kaaren was born to Leroy and Dorothy Mason on May 30, 1942 in Goldthwaite, TX. She married her junior high/high school sweetheart Jerald Berry in 1960. Together they had 3 boys. She gave birth to their first son, Raymond in Puerto Rico while Jerald was stationed at the Ramey Air Force Base. They spent several years in Hobbs, New Mexico where Darrell and Jimmy were born and then moved to Ninnekah, Oklahoma where they continued to raise their family. She spent a portion of her career as a Secretary at Chickasha High School and more recently she enjoyed helping take care of her great-grandchildren.

One of the fondest memories Jerald has of Kaaren is when she would go fishing with him, he even admitted she caught the biggest fish at times. One of the fondest memories her grandchildren have of her is spending a day during the holidays making pumpkin rolls.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Dorothy Mason; Sons, Raymond and Jimmy Berry; Grandson, Jason Berry; and her dog, Abby.

Kaaren will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jerald Berry; Son, Darrell Berry; Daughter in law, Angie Berry; Grandchildren, Shaun and Morgan Berry, Destre and Matt Crawford, Todd and Andrea Berry, and Jake Berry; Great Grandchildren, Romy, Keegan, Kole, Axel, Konnor, and Berkley; Siblings, Sue and Tommy Herring, Roy Don and Laury Mason, Bill and Karen Berry, and Nancy West as well as nieces and nephews and her dog, Molly.
