Justin Powell

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 5, 2023, at Sevier Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Justin Christopher Powell was born November 4, 1981, to Arthur and Janelle (Ivy) Powell in Chickasha, OK. He left this life on May 24, 2023, in Chickasha, OK at the age of 41.

Justin grew up in Chickasha, Oklahoma, and attended Chickasha Public Schools graduating from Chickasha High School in 2001. Justin lived and worked in Chickasha his whole life.

He loved tinkering with computers, gaming consoles, and other electronics. Justin attended Canadian Valley Technology Center in their CADD program, as his lifelong dream was to become a video game designer. He loved his nieces and nephews, and spending time with them was one of his favorite things. He was a wonderful uncle and one of the nicest people you would ever meet.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Franklin Powell and Janelle Diane (Ivy) Powell; as well as his grandparents, Red and Ruth Ivy, and J.C. and Joy Powell.

Justin is survived by his sister, Brandi Young and husband, Aaron, brother, Cory Powell and wife, Tamara; nieces and nephews: Alexander, Parker, and Zac Young, Ivey Powell, Isabel Sutteer, Carson Powell, and Farris Sutteer, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
