June Glass

Alecia June (Lee) Glass passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 90.  She was the oldest of eleven children born to Hilburn and Eva (Carel) Lee on January 16, 1927 in Cement, Oklahoma.

June graduated high school and married J.A. "Jimmie" Glass in 1945.  June and Jimmie made their home in the Ninnekah community, where they raised their family.  June was saved when just a girl and was an active member of the Baptist Church, serving as a teacher and helping with Bible School.  In later years she was a member of First Baptist Church in Chickasha.  June was a stay-at-home mom to Deb and Danny and later a proud grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Jimmie Glass who died on July 13, 2004; her parents, H.N. and Eva Lee; four sisters: Ioma Lee, Jerry Hudson, Freda Askins, Barbara Delk; brothers: Lindon Lee, Howard Lee and Dean Lee.

June leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jim Berry of Ninnekah, OK;

And son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Gay Glass of Rush Springs, OK;

Sister, Joy Hunter;

Brothers: Kenneth Lee and Ron Lee;

Grandchildren:  Nicona Nelson, Judson Berry, Josh Glass, Medea White and Christy Dearmond;

And 6 great grandchildren.
