Judy Wendling

Julia May "Judy" Wendling, of Blanchard, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 in Norman, OK at the age of 80.  She was born October 17, 1938 in Crescent, Oklahoma to Clarence Dodd and Helen (Stewart) Wright.

Judy has lived in Grady county her entire life.  She married Wayne Wendling on July 24, 1954.  She worked at the Middleberg school cafeteria from 1959 to 1963 and she and Wayne farmed and operated a dairy farm from 1963 to 1997.  After 1997, they continued farming and raising cattle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Lester Dodd, George Wright, Jr., Dennis Wright and Jimmy Wright and sisters: Sherrie DeGan and Priscilla LaValla.

Judy is survived by her husband, Wayne Wendling;

Daughters:  Sherrie Wendling Stumpf and her husband, John; Karla Wendling Hurley and her husband, David; and Julie Wendling Lovelady and her husband, Howard;

Sisters: Nevada Willis, Nellie Terry, and Nancy Wright;

Brother, Gary Wright;

Stepdad, George Wright;

Grandchildren: Toye Weaver and Nathaniel Brown, Johnna and Matt Schoolfield, Dakota Rainey, Montana Lovelady, Pepper and Doug Tolson and D.W. and Jill Hurley;

and 9 great grandchildren: Paige and Traycer Ridley, Tristen Weaver, Dustin Tolson, Colton Smith, Jandi Hurley, Tinlee Schoolfield, McKenna Hurley, Jemma Schoolfield and David Brown.
