Funeral service for Juanita Loraine (Whitlock) Walker, 102, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home with Kim Hayes officiating.  Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Juanita was born October 5, 1920, in Roff, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert and Lela (Daniel) Whitlock. She passed away peacefully Friday, January 13, 2023, at her home in Ninnekah surrounded by family.

Juanita Whitlock and Louie Woodrow Walker were married on October 10, 1936. They were married for 64 years before his passing in 2001.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, excellent cook and caregiver. Juanita worked at Pet Milk and also owned and operated a Conoco gas station with her husband Louie. She loved her family deeply. Juanita accepted Jesus as her Savior when she was a teenager. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ninnekah, Oklahoma.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Louie, parents and five brothers: Bill Whitlock, Robert "Bob" Whitlock, Kenneth Whitlock, Allen Whitlock, and J.B. Whitlock. She was also preceded in death by her in-laws William M. and Georgia May (Boswell) Walker, brother-in-law Billy Joe Walker, sister-in-law Ruby West, son-in-law Kenneth Rowell, and great-grandson Benjamin Parr.

Survivors include: Daughter Sharon Kay Rowell of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, Daughter and son-in-law Marjorie Mae and Kenneth Lee of Ninnekah, Oklahoma; brother-in-law and wife Jimmy Ray & Pat Walker of Elk City, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Jan Whitlock of South Carolina; grandchildren Monte (Janice) Rowell, Shane Rowell (Anissa), Kimra Parr and Shelle (Michael) Miller; great-grandchildren Shantel (Scott) Turner, Nolan Miller, Jake Miller, Drew (Amanda) Rowell, Ethan (Bri) Rowell, Keisha Craddock and Matt (Kerri) Craddock and many great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give special thanks to Lifeline and wonderful caregivers Chelsea Mangus, Michell Russell, Dacie Briggs, Madison Skinner and Linda Huffman for the excellent care given.
