Juanita "Peggy" Stephens

Juanita Mae "Peggy" (Ellis) Stephens, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 90.  She was born October 16, 1927 in Lucille, Oklahoma to William and Martha Josephine Ellis.

Peggy owned and operated We Two Restaurant in Enid, Oklahoma for several years and worked in a cosmetics department store in Oklahoma City.  She moved back to Chickasha in 1989.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Steve Stephens; her son, Franklin Eugene Purnell; 2 brothers: Gene Ellis, Junior Ellis; and 2 sisters: Mary Katheryn Batchelor and Shirley Marie Norman

Peggy is survived by grandchildren: Darrell Eugene Purnell, Bryan Purnell and Steven Purnell; great grandchildren: Colton Purnell and Brooke Purnell;

4 sisters:  Mickey Godbehere, Genieve Murphy, Nellie Schiffman and Patsy Neuman;

and 2 brothers: William Ellis and Bobby Ellis;

and her best friend Karla Witt.
