Juanita (Fatheree) Van Skike, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on January 14, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 92.  She was born January 6, 1929 in Cement, Oklahoma to Marvin and Dae Mae (Snapp) Fatheree.

Juanita married Willie Antinoro in 1946 and they had a daughter, Laquetta Antinoro.  She married Richard Van Skike in Las Vegas on May 25, 1969.

She took 2000 hours in cosmetology and graduated in 1963.  She then attended nursing school graduating in 1968 with her LPN license and took Flight for Life courses in 1971 so she could be a nurse on a helicopter ambulance.  She flew home with patients many times during her career.

She retired from nursing in 1988.

She had been active in the Church of Christ till her health wouldn't allow her to attend.  She moved to Las Vegas in 2009 to be closer to her daughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Dae Mae Fatheree; her sister Mae Fatheree; and her husbands Willie Antinoro and Richard Van Skike.

Juanita is survived by her daughter Laquetta Farnsworth and her husband Thomas, grandsons Ricky (Kong), Brian (Megan) and Kevin, and great grandchildren Jessica, Abi, Ricky Jr., Keani, Emily, and Mikayla, all of Las Vegas, NV.

Burial will be 3:30 p.m, Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, OK.
