Johnny Roy Bond

Funeral services for Johnny Bond will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Cowboy Country Church.

Johnny Bond, 78, passed away on December 2, 2022, in Norman, Oklahoma. Johnny was born on May 16, 1944, to Leonard and Willie (Myers) Bond in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Johnny graduated from Verden High School. He enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. After school Johnny joined the Army Reserves. He was a farmer and enjoyed tending the cattle. He was a lifelong Grady County resident.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Willie Bond; siblings Marie Fay Bond, Russell Perry Bond, Rosalee Hill, Ralph Franklin Bond, Jane Pearcy and Kenneth Bond.

He is survived by his sister Charlotte Slawson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Afterglow
