John Roger Foster

John Roger Foster was born October 17, 1945 in Dallas, Texas.  He was the son of Harry S. and Loraine (McDaniel) Foster.   John passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at his home in Anadarko, Oklahoma at the age of 71.

He married Louise Landers on December 17, 1973 in Ft. Worth, Texas.  John graduated from Chickasha High School in 1963.  He worked for the Chickasha Police Dept. as Assistant Chief of Police and retired in 1996.  He also worked with the Grady County Sherriff Dept and the U.S. Marshall office as a court security officer in Oklahoma City and Lawton at the Federal Courthouse and retired in 2008.

His was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carolyn Wier, and an infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Foster;

Sons: John D. Foster and Christopher Foster;

Daughter, Sheryl Bowman and her husband, Terry Carpenter;

Two granddaughters: Rhiannon Bowman and Hannah Carpenter.
