Joan Antoinette Ely

Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2022, at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel, Chickasha, Oklahoma. Interment will be in the Amber Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Joan Antoinette Ely, of Amber, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 63. She was born January 10, 1959 in Quantico, Virginia to Frank and Judy (Bays) Nestor.

Joan graduated from Crete Monee High school in 1977. She began working after high school until 1986 where she moved to Arizona and met her husband, Randy Ely, They began dating in 1986 and were married January 9, 1988. They lovingly raised 3 children together, Krystle, William, and Scott. They moved from Arizona to Arkansas in 1996, and in 1998 moved to Amber, Oklahoma where she spent the remainder of her life. Joan loved to fish and go camping with Randy and their friends, as well as crochet, sew and especially loved doing puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Judy (Bays) Nestor; Mother and Father-in-law, Alton and Loretta Ely.

Joan is survived by her husband, Randy Ely of Amber, OK; daughter, Krystle Long and husband, Cory of Tuttle, Oklahoma; sons, William Ely of the home, Scott Ely and wife Ashley of Chickasha, OK; grandchildren: Keeley, Brayden, Emma, Kiefer, and Cooper; siblings, Mike Pezel, Tony Nestor, and Joe Nestor; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
