Funeral Service for Jo Ann Dorothy Hoffman will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Jo Ann Dorothy Hoffman passed from this life on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 94. She was born on April 12, 1930, in Carnegie, OK, to Homer Bailey and Opal (Crumm) Bailey.

Jo Ann grew up in the Pocasset and Chickasha area. She attended Meridian Schools. After graduation, Jo Ann worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She then met Henry Hoffman, they married, and she became a homemaker. Being a homemaker only lasted a short time, due to the many businesses that she worked alongside her husband. They got into the oilfield and then Jo Ann and Henry started Hoffman Trucking, which they owned and operated for 45 years. They ran many businesses very successfully through the years, including, Hoffman Cattle, Hoffman Case Tractor Company, Hoffman Fertilizer, Hoffman Grain, and Hoffman Pipe and Steel. Their biggest venture was Hoffman Farming. Together they have five children, Pam, Gary, Judy, Eddy, and Jan.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hoffman; her parents, Opal and Homer Bailey; siblings, Belton Bailey, Evanelle Smith; grandchildren, Jody Glass and Kollin Hoffman.

Loved ones left to remember Jo Ann include her children, Gary Hoffman and wife Cindy, Pam and husband Wyatt Graham, Judy Hoffman, Eddy Hoffman, and Jan Hoffman; her brother, Jim Bailey; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and family.
