Jim Lee Walker, of Chickasha, OK, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 86.  He was born July 2, 1932 in Henryetta, OK to Arthur and Theresa Walker.

Jim worked at the Chickasha Hospital downtown Chickasha and at the Chickasha Clinic.  He was aslo the Hospital Administrator in Lindsay.  He came back to Chickasha from Shawnee and worked at the Chickasha Clinic.  He moved to San Antonio and received his Master's degree at Trinity University.  He came back to Chickasha and worked at the Chickasha Clinic.  He received his PhD at the University of North Texas.

He taught at Louisiana State University at Shreveport, LA and was chair of Business Dept. at Moorhead State University in Minnesota.  He retired 20 years ago and came back to Chickasha.

He married Nina Oleta Boycott on January 9, 1957.  He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and he was active with the Gideon Association for Grady County.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nina Oleta Walker on January 31, 2019; and a sister Patsy Lam Hoc.

Jim is survived by his children: A daughter, Pam Walker;

A son, Daniel Walker and his wife, Peggy;

A brother, Richard Walker;

Brother-in-law, Richard Burns;

Special friends Ginny and Bill Morris and Judy Boyle.
