Jewel Thompson

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Antioch Cemetery, Antioch, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, OK.

Mary Jewel Thompson, of Alex, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the age of 100.  She was born March 2, 1920 to C.B. and Florence (Blankenship) Tillery.

She married Raymond Thompson on June 29, 1942 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.  In 1946 they moved to Chickasha and in the spring of 1949 she and Raymond moved to their home place where she and Raymond farmed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thompson on August 4, 2006 and a daughter, Joy Ann Barker.

Jewel is survived by her children: Kaye Mink and her husband Jack and Charles M. Thompson and his wife Zillah;

7 grandchildren: Randy Mink, Ricky Mink, Travis Tindle, Trevor Tindle, Brandon Tindle, Brian Thompson and Brent Thompson;

17 great grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren and 1 great-great-great grandchild.
