Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Ninnekah First Baptist, Ninnekah, Oklahoma. Interment will be in Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
Joseph Gerald "Jerry" "Joe" Winstone, of Ninnekah, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age 87. He was born December 9, 1934 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Lester Otis Winstone and Lula Elizabeth (Hood) Winstone.
Jerry grew up in the Ninnekah area and attended Ninnekah schools where he graduated from in 1954. He then joined the United States Army where was stationed in Germany, during his service he received a military commendation. He was honorably discharged in 1956. After returning to Ninnekah, Jerry began working as a machinist at Badgett Steam Lubricator where he worked for 40 years. Jerry met his wife, Pairlee (West) Winstone in 1956 and they began dating and later were married on June 21, 1958. They lovingly raised their two children together, Golda (Winstone) Duncan and Wesley Winstone. Jerry lived his entire life in Ninnekah, Oklahoma and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester Otis Winstone and Lula Elizabeth (Hood) Winstone; sister, Rebecca Drewry; and brothers, Georgie Winstone, Otis Winstone, and Robert Winstone.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Pairlee Nancy (West) Winstone; daughter Golda Duncan and husband, Mike; son, Wesley Winstone and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Denver Duncan and wife, Heather, Natalie Legg-Jack and husband, Prinye; Tyler Winstone and wife, Laura; Abby Ketchum and husband, Kelby; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
