Jerry Leon Sprowls

Jerry Leon Sprowls, of Pocasset, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 78.  Jerry was born August 16, 1939 in Minco, Oklahoma to Carol B. and Vesta Lee Sprowls.

He graduated from Pocasset High School and has lived in Grady County most of his life.  He married Daisy Riley on June 3, 1961 and to this union three daughters were born.

He did auto body work for over 30 years and worked for Bob Moore Cadillac and Bolen Oldsmobile in Oklahoma City.  He also farmed and ranched in the Pocasset area.

Jerry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pocasset.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law, Rick Harmon.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Daisy Sprowls;

Daughters:  Ronda Evans and husband, Tony;
Chrystal Newton and husband, Tom;
Danene Sprowls;

Grandchildren:  Steven Nixon and wife, Amanda; and Nikki Sharp and husband, Elliott;

Great Grandchildren: Taylor Nixon, Teegan Nixon, Tallie Nixon, Adonis Sharp, Apollos Sharp and Arya Sharp;

Brother, Billy Sprowls and wife, Lora.
