Jerrell C Hatcher, of Chickasha, OK, formerly a longtime resident of Minco, OK, departed this earthly life on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at home in Chickasha at the age of 92. He was born December 6, 1926 in Cogar, Oklahoma to Ollie Bell Ventris Hatcher and Harvey Ray Hatcher.
Jerrell was a life-time farmer in Canadian County and started farming at the age of 16 and purchased his first farm when he was only 19 years of age. At the age of 41, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree from then Southwestern State College and later his Master's Degree followed by teaching one year at East Walnut School in Canadian County then teaching in the Minco Public School System for 22 years from which he retired in 1992.
He married Yvone Campbell on June 26, 1949 in Niles, Oklahoma.
He also loved fishing, hunting, traveling with his wife in their RV and collecting Indian artifacts. He was artistically talented and did drawing and sculpting for personal satisfaction.
He was a member of the Minco First Baptist Church and later joined College Height Baptist Church after moving to Chickasha.
Jerrell was a good provider, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother and loved his family. He will be greatly missed by his family.
He leaves his wife, Yvone Hatcher, of almost 70 years;

Blake Richardson and wife, Belinda, Piedmont, OK;
Jerod Richardson and wife, Rebekah, of Oklahoma City, OK;
Brittanie Hatcher of Oklahoma City, OK;
Jennifer Hatcher of Blanchard, OK;
Jessica Hayden and husband, Josh, of Blanchard, OK;
and Andrew Mayfield
10 great grandchildren: Colby, Jayla and Kayla Hutson of Stillwater, OK;
Charli Rose and Jagger Richardson of Piedmont, OK;
Taylor and Reagan Richardson of Oklahoma City, OK;
Denice and Cassidy Le of Keller, TX;
and Cooper Hayden of Blanchard, OK.
Jerrell is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Teresa Ruth Hatcher; brothers: Cecil Ray Hatcher and Olen Bell Hatcher; and sister, Vada Hatcher Lockhart.
