Jc Good

JC (Junior Clay) Good, 43, passed away on May 10th, 2024 in Marlow Oklahoma.  He was the proud father of Tyler Clay and Landon Alva Good.

JC made his arrival into the world on Mothers Day May 8th, 1981.  He was the son to Carolyn Sue and (Junior) Ernest Garfield Good.  JC spent his years growing up and going to school in Duncan, Marlow, Rush Springs & Chickasha.

Most came to know him while working at Chickasha 2-Way with Pat Overby, cruising around in his favorite pickup at the time that you were surely to hear before you saw, and playing pool at his favorite hangout spot AKA Daddy Day Care. The proudest moment in his life was becoming a father, watching his sons with their accomplishments, graduations, and growing into men.  He learned from them that a beard was in fact a cookie duster and that he could outrun anyone when a hay bail was set on fire.

He learned at an early age that dilation is not just about your eyes when his sister Misty gave birth to his nephew. He could tell you that a tens unit should never be placed on your head on the highest level.  He learned that the FBI never really put serial numbers on the gravel, Carla needed him to hurry up. A trash truck is tougher than an old 84.

JC enjoyed spending his time hanging out and cooking for loved ones.  He loved being a daddy and an uncle.  He enjoyed playing pool, basketball, and fishing.  Of course, his fish were always bigger than anyone else's. He would never pass up a chance to stop and work on a vehicle with Rick Huber or work on anyone's sound system he could make louder. JC never met a stranger, you either loved him or as far he was concerned…. you would eventually.

JC leaves behind his sons Tyler Clay Good and Landon Alva Good, his father Junior Good. Siblings Lawanda Torres, Loretta Hernandez & husband Gilbert, Carla Jean Halstead, Eric Christopher Garland, Christina Good, Jonathan Good, Misty Renee' Henington & husband Justin. A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews as well as the ones he claimed along the way.  Bonus mom & dad, Rick and Tammy Huber, and sister Vicki (Shorty) Elliot. As well as many others that loved and adored him.

He is preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Sue Good. Maternal Grandparents Charlene and Buddy Moon.  Paternal Grandfather Dude Good and Grandmother Good.  Friends that became brothers Joshua Harris, TomKat, Dale Tyler, and Danny Hanks.

A Celebration of Life will be held for JCs on May 21st, 2024 at 10 am hosted by The Christian Center; 2401 Valley View Drive in Chickasha Oklahoma.
