Martha Jane Hodges, of Tuttle, Ok, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Yukon, Oklahoma at the age of 76. She was born July 28, 1942 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Joseph and Jessie (Winstone) Antinoro.
Janie was raised in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1960. She attended business school where she learned bookkeeping following graduation. She married Ted Lee Hodges on October 15, 1960 at Epworth United Methodist Church in Chickasha. They made their home in Oklahoma City till they moved to Tuttle in 1970 to a family farm of Ted's. It was here in Tuttle they raised their four children.
Janie worked at Altec Speaker in Mustang for a number of years followed by 28 years at Star Pharmacy in Tuttle until she retired. She and her friend Theresa Lingle began their own business, The Plumline, hanging wallpaper and they also did wedding planning. She had many talents including oil painting, sewing, cooking and baking. Traveling and playing board games and cards with family and friends are just two of her favorite hobbies. Above all Janie was a family loving woman of God.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ted in 2015.
Janie is survived by her children: Tracy Willoughby of the home in Tuttle, OK; Joseph Marvin Hodges and his wife, Rene', of Oklahoma City, OK; Mathew Wayne Hodges of Tulsa, OK; and Marcy Jane Schmult and her husband, Bill, of Oklahoma City, OK;
10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren with 1 on the way;
Her sisters: Carolyn Kile of Oklahoma City, OK, and Rose Ann Plemons and her husband, Gene, of Chickasha, OK;
brother, Joseph Antinoro, Jr, and his wife, Kay, of Norman, OK;
and numerous nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.
