Janice Sue Ragain

Janice Sue (Floyd) Ragain went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 71. She was born October 26, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa to parents Noble Floyd and Jeannie (Trotter) Floyd.

Janice grew up in Des Moines, Iowa where she was raised with 16 other brothers and sisters. When she was 16 she moved to Crane, Missouri where she graduated from High School in 1971. Then in 1974 she met the love of her life Lavern Ragain, and they were married on October 3, 1975 in Crane, Missouri. Together they had 3 boys, Chris, Brian, and James. Lavern worked for the railroad which had them move to various states until 1995 when they settled in Oklahoma where she lived for the rest of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Lavern Ragain of the home; sons, Chris, Brian, and James of Chickasha; granddaughter, Faye Ragain of Springfield, MO; grandson, Cooper of Chickasha; brothers and sisters, Donna, Steve, Paul, Judy, and Scott of Iowa, and Mark of Florida; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes no services are planned, cremation service is under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
