James E. Willmon

James E. Willmon was born February 18, 1942 in Agawam, Oklahoma. He was the son of Noble and Beatrice (Padgett) Willmon. He went home to be with his Savior on January 1, 2015 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha. He grew up in the Minco area and lived most of his life in Grady County. In 1978 he married Phyllis Smith Davis. He worked for Gabriel for over 20 yrs and retired. James loved his family very much. He really enjoyed doing quality woodwork. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter-in-law, Angela Willmon. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Willmon 2 sons: Greg Willmon and wife, Amy; and Steve Willmon and wife, Olya 2 sisters: Patsy Flanagan and Effie Englebretson and husband, Eldon 5 grandchildren: Brent Willmon of the home; Ashley Willmon and boyfriend Ricardo Lara; Amber Willmon; Michael Willmon; and Ayden Willmon
