James Earl Daughtry passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, in Blanchard, OK at the age of 44. He was born August 1, 1977, in Chickasha, OK to James Earl Smith and Helen Marie Robinson.

James grew up in Chickasha and attended Chickasha Public Schools. While he was in High School James met the love of his life and High School sweetheart, Tish Williams. Together they had five children. After High School, they moved to the city where they would raise their family together. James ran his own janitorial business and was a very successful cook. When Tish passed in 2015, James also took on the role of full-time dad and raising their five children.

James loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, and OU Sooners, he also taught himself how to play the guitar. He loved cooking for his family, they never knew what he might whip up in the kitchen next. James especially loved watching his children play sports. James also enjoyed playing dominos (bones) with his family. James always stayed the same and was quite the jokester.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Tish Williams, cousins, Charles "Chucky" Brown, Jeff Craine, Tonya McKinney, and other family members.

James is survived by his children, James Antwan Williams, Jalon Malek Williams, Jamarion Anthony Williams, Jacorey Lee Williams, Jamela Lashay Williams; mother, Helen Marie Robinson; brothers, Ken Lavon Robinson, Kevin Darnell Nacoste, Keith Rondale Daughtry, Paul Dewayne Daughtry; sister, Gina Delonda Daughtry, as well as many others.
