Jacob Wade Toews

Jacob Wade Toews, of Verden, OK, passed away at his home north of Verden on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the age of 15.  He is the youngest child of Kyle and Christy (Schmidt) Toews and was born on June 17, 2002 in Dodge City, Kansas.

He moved to Chickasha with his parents in the spring of 2005.  He received his education at Plainview Mennonite School.  Jacob was a lover of animals and loved to fish and swim.  He was a member of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gerald Toews of Cimarron, Kansas.

Jacob is survived by his parents, Kyle and Christy Toews, of Verden, OK;

Brother, Joey Toews and his wife, Tanya, of Verden, OK;

Sister, Daisy Toews of the home;

Paternal grandparents, Wilford and Diane Schmidt of Cimarron, KS;

Maternal grandparents, Robert and Patricia Schmidt of Chickasha, OK.
