Ivy Doke was born November 4, 1927 in Hana Maui, Hawaii to Joseph and Josephine (Akiona) Marciel. She passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 in Amber, Oklahoma at the age of 88.
She came to Pocasset in 1945 from Hawaii and worked at the Opportunity Workshop in Chickasha. She worked at Gabriel (formerly Maramont) for 20 years. She retired at the age of 65.
Mrs. Doke was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Pocasset.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lowell Doke; an infant daughter; and a son-in-law, Raymond Paul Jones.
