Hershel Edward Chancellor

Hershel Edward Chancellor was born October 2, 1937 in Dill City, OK, the 7th son of 14 children, to Alonzo Morton and Theresa Hester (Walker) Chancellor. He passed away at his home in Yukon, OK on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the age of 78.

He lived in Tuttle for over 20 years and also spent many years in Oklahoma City. He worked at Tinker for 33 years before retiring in the early 1990's. He had also worked for the Voigt family during harvest time for 40 years.

Hershel dedicated a lot of his free time to the Christmas Connection in Oklahoma City.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and 4 brothers.

Hershel is survived by 2 sons: Kelly Chancellor and his wife, Cindy, of Shawnee, OK;
Kent Chancellor and his wife, Maria, of Oklahoma City, OK;

1 daughter, Kim Heath and her husband, Mark, of Oklahoma City, OK;

Grandchildren: Nick Chancellor, Austin Chancellor, Lauren Chancellor, Vanessa Heath and
Abby Chancellor;

3 brothers: J.D. Chancellor of Colorado;
Paul Chancellor of Tuttle, OK;
Roger Chancellor of Tuttle, OK;

2 sisters: Margaret McLerran of Enid, OK;
Deanne Roberson of Oklahoma City, OK;

And numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
