Harvey Joe Reed

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2021 at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel, Chickasha, OK. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Harvey Joe Reed, of Ninnekah, OK, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Duncan, OK at the age of 84. He was born August 13, 1937 in Ninnekah, OK to Barney and Goldie (Shelton) Reed.

Harvey lived in Ninnekah for his entire adult life after moving around as a child. Harvey graduated from Ninnekah High School in 1957. He then joined the Army and served for six months, afterwards going into the Army Reserves for 10 years. Harvey's favorite hobby was fishing which he did around the Ninnekah area. In his younger years Harvey also enjoyed quail hunting.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Goldie (Shelton) Reed; and brothers: Willie, Harold, John, and Richard Reed.

Harvey is survived by his son, Ricky Reed and wife, Dana; son, Kevin Reed; grandchildren: Brianna Harris and husband, Josh, Ransom Reed and wife, Evan, Tori Garner and husband, Jeremiah, Lane Reed and girlfriend, Emily, and Harley Reed;

Great-grandchildren, Ryanne Garner and Lyla Reed;

Brother, Walt Reed.
