Harold Eugene Mccarthey

Harold Eugene McCarthey passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Tuttle, Oklahoma at the age of 100.  Harold was born August 22, 1916 in Tuttle to Walter and Ethel McCarthey.

He was raised in Tuttle and graduated from Tuttle High School in 1936.  He married Tarcie Clark on May 21, 1941 in Hobart, Oklahoma.  Harold enlisted into the Army Air Corp in 1941 following the bombing of Pearl Harbor.  After he was discharged, He and Tarcie made their home at Tuttle and farmed in the area until he retired in 1975.

Harold was a member of the Tuttle First Baptist Church and the Road Runners RV Camping Club.  He enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Citizens Center.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Tarcie Fern McCarthey on November 3, 2012; and two sisters, Betty Marshall and Lahoma Marlow.

Harold is survived by his grandchildren:
Misty Laurick and her husband, Thomas, of Tuttle, OK;
Tim McCarthey and his wife, Cassie, of Yukon, OK;

Great Grandchildren:  Summer Laurick, Brooklynn Laurick, Sara Laurick,
Jacob Laurick, Emma McCarthey and Catey McCarthey;

And other nieces, nephews and cousins.
