Guy Leonard Koonce

Guy Leonard Koonce, Jr. was born January 31, 1928 in Ninnekah, Oklahoma to Guy and Edith (Melton) Koonce. He passed away at his home in Norman, OK on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the age of 87. Mr. Koonce grew up around Tuttle and graduated from Tuttle High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from the FAA and has lived in Norman for almost 40 years. He married Marilyn Foster on October 3, 1996 in Wichita Falls,Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Edith Koonce; and 3 brothers: Cecil Koonce, Bob Koonce and Calvin Koonce. Mr. Koonce is survived by his wife, Marilyn Koonce, of the home in Norman, OK A daughter, Susie Johnson and her husband, Jack, of Texhoma, OK A son, Paul Koonce and his wife, Terrie, of Bartlesville, OK 3 stepson: Louis Hemphill and his wife, Judy Michael Hemphill and his wife, Rhonda Jeff Hemphill and his wife, Deborah 2 stepdaughters: Yvonne Ferguson and Angela Dunn and her husband, Steve 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren A brother, Leon Koonce
