Geraldine Elaine Richardson

Funeral service for Geraldine Elaine Richardson will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at New Song Church of God (16th and Florida, Chickasha). Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Geraldine Richardson passed from this life surrounded by her loving family on August 31, 2025 in her home in Amber, OK at the age of 84. She was born on July 6, 1941 in Comanche, OK to Frederick William Morgan and Otha Helen (Williams) Morgan.

Geraldine was named after her aunt and was called 'Gerry' in her memory all of her life. She was born in Comanche, OK on July 6, 1941. Sadly, her mom died in childbirth when Gerry was just over one year old. Her Dad, older siblings, and pastor's wife helped raise Gerry. She always prayed that God would let her live long enough to see her children raised so they would never know what it felt like to "have no mother." She met her future husband, J.B. Richardson, on August 18, 1957 when he visited a church service at Church of God in Chickasha, OK, where she played the piano. They married the following year in February 1958. They raised four children and were married for 67 years.

Gerry adored being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and finally a great-great grandmother.

Gerry is preceded in death by her parents, Otha Helen Morgan, who passed in 1943 and Frederick Morgan, who passed in 1966; 11 brothers and sisters, 10 siblings who were older and one infant sibling who died in childbirth with her Mom; her son, James Glynn Richardson, who passed in 2022; her grandson, Ryan Davis Hall, who passed in 1996.

Loved ones left to remember Gerry are her husband, James Burlene Richardson; her daughters, Pamela Terry, Gail Stephenson, and Lea Anna Gaye Richardson; son-in-law Randy Terry; her daughter-in-law, Brenda Sue Richardson; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
