Gerald Wesley Terry, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at his home. He was born April 11, 1935 at Little Rush, northwest of Rush Springs, Oklahoma to Chester Wesley and Alice Ruth (Forbes) Terry.
Gerald attended schools at Friend, Union Hill, Lucille and Middleberg. Gerald had several jobs through the years: service station attendant, Shuler Produce, Badgetts Machine Shop, OK Cow Sales, and Lynn Russell Farm. He was a dairyman, cattle hauler and a cowboy. Gerald was one of the original organizers (1966) of The Circle C Roundup Club.
Gerald always had a horse since he was 9 years old until his health failed. Gerald was baptized at the age of 15 at Naples. He currently was a member of the Middleberg Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Alice Terry; brothers, Clifford Terry and Ronald Terry; nephew, Steve Wyant; great nephew, Aaron Terry; sister-in-law, Betty Terry;
Gerald is survived by his wife of 62 years, Aletha Terry, of the home;
Children: Gerald Ray Terry of Verden, OK;
Sheila Thompson and her husband, Mike, of Dibble, OK;
Malinda McQueen of Rush Springs, OK;
9 grandchildren: Cody Terry, Rusty Thompson, Beth Turpin and her husband Kelcee; Dusty Thompson, Mariah Terry and Chris Trimble, Tyler Smith and his wife, Meghan; Tanner Smith and Dani Smith, Mikayla Thompson and Steven McQueen;
7 great grandchildren: Landin Turpin, Lukus Turpin, Bo Turpin, Dayton Smith, Remington Smith, Colt Smith and Georgia Anthony;
Brother, Harold Terry and his wife, Nellie, of Soloman, KS;
Sister, Shirley Wyant and Billy, of Chickasha, OK;
