Gerald Ray Terry

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Alex Cemetery.

Gerald Ray Terry, aka Bubba, of Verden, OK, was born September 26, 1956 to Gerald Wesley and Aletha Joy (Wood) Terry in Chickasha, OK.  He passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Gerald Ray was raised in the Tabler/Friend area.  He attended Friend School from 1 ^st to 8 ^th grade continuing his education at Amber-Pocasset High School, graduating in 1974.  Gerald Ray was active in 4-H and FFA. He liked fast horses and fast cars and even faster women.

He was baptized at Middleberg Baptist Church on April 21, 1974.  He had several employments in Grady County.  He worked at Wheeler Farms for 20 years until 2 years ago because of health issues.

Gerald Ray is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Wesley Terry, grandparents and several aunts and uncles and cousins.

Gerald Ray is survived by his mother, Aletha Joy Terry of Chickasha, OK;

Son, Cody Ray Terry of Okemah, OK;

Daughter, Mariah Cree Terry of Chickasha, OK;

Granddauthers:  Ja'Kobi Faith Lenee Clampitt, of Chickasha, OK; and Georgia Sunshine Anthony of Apache, OK;

Sisters:  Sheila Thompson and husband, Mike, of Dibble,OK; and Malinda McQueen of Rush Springs, OK;

and several nieces and nephews.
