Geneva Smith

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Plainview Mennonite Church.  Interment will be in the Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Geneva (Schmidt) Smith, 84, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She was born April 27, 1935 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Alfred and Amanda (Nightingale) Schmidt.

Geneva has lived in the Chickasha area all her life.  She married Willis E. Smith on February 22, 1959 in Chickasha.  She and her husband farmed in the Verden area.

She is a member of the Plainview Mennonite Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Geneva is survived by her husband Willis Smith of Chickasha, OK;

Children:  Lyndon Smith and his wife, Kathy, of Chickasha, OK; Roger Smith and his wife, Cindy, of DeRidder, LA; Rita Smith of DeRidder, LA; and Scott Smith and his wife, Tamara, of DeRidder, LA;

8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren;

Brother, Wayne Schmidt;

Sister, Lavera Smith.
