Geneva Schmidt

Geneva F. Schmidt was born September 7, 1942 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Clarence and Lula (Koehn) Unruh.  She passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 74.

Mrs. Schmidt has lived in Grady County her entire life.  She married Edward Schmidt on April 16, 1961.  She was a member of the Plainview Mennonite Church.

She is preceded in death by a son, David Schmidt in 1994, her parents, a brother, Curtis Unruh and an infant sister, Bethene Ann Unruh.

Mrs. Schmidt is survived by her husband, Edward Schmidt;

3 daughters:  Lisa Schmidt, Stephanie Schmidt and Sharon Schmidt

5 brothers:  Gilbert Unruh, Raymond Unruh, Milfred Unruh, Paul Unruh and Stanley Unruh;

3 sisters:  Luella Koehn, Wilma Koehn and Linda Schmidt;

And many nieces and nephews.
