Geneva May (Jones) Fredricks was born October 12, 1944, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James Eli and Irene Katherine Jones. She went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family on June 23, 2022 at her family home in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 77.

Geneva met her husband Dennis in 1967, at the Baptist Student Center at the University of Central Oklahoma and were married May 31, 1969, at the First Baptist Church of Edmond, Oklahoma. They raised two children together, Dennis Jr. and Katherine.

Geneva worked for many years at the Willows Intermediate School as an instructional aid and front office secretary. Geneva retired in 2009 where she was working in accounts payable for the Natomas School District. In 2017 Dennis retired and they moved to Chickasha to be closer to their children. Geneva enjoyed singing, family camping trips and vacation time when her children were young. Geneva also enjoyed teaching the book of Revelation to her Sunday school class, playing cards with friends, attending "The Last Supper" each month with longtime college friends and watching science fiction movies. Geneva was the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Irene Jones; her brother, Clarence Jones.

Geneva is survived by her husband, Dennis Fredricks (Chickasha, OK); her son, Dennis Fredricks Jr. (Cedar Lake, OK); her daughter, Katherine Weaver and husband Scott (Chickasha, OK); her grandchildren, Lyssa O'Brien, Franklin Hanes, Kaylee Shelton, Tristen Weaver, Kelley Fredricks, Dale Fredricks, and Katey (Fredricks) Walker; 14 great-grandchildren with number 15 arriving soon, she loved her great-grandchildren more than anything.

Geneva's family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Geneva's healthcare team, Crossroads Hospice, all her doctors, nurses, and aids who took such amazing care of her. Geneva was very grateful for all of them and so was her family.
