Frances was born in Chickasha, OK. She married Wayne Baker on June 11, 1952. Frances had three children, Nancy, Kathy, and Aaron Baker, Jr. She lived in Oklahoma City, OK for 50 years then moved back to Chickasha, OK in 2005. Frances was an active member of the Windsor Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Agnes (Pearcy) McClain; her father, Ray McClain; her grandson, Justin Pettet.

Frances is survived by her husband, Wayne Baker of Chickasha, OK; her children: Nancy Baker Hedrick of Chickasha, OK, Kathy Baker Pettet of Seminole, OK, Aaron Baker, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; her brother, Gerald McClain of Stillwater, OK; her granddaughter, Kira Pettet of Seminole, OK; her grandson, Christian Pettet of Oregon.
