Forrest Lee Robinett

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Forrest Lee Robinett was born on May 24, 1939, In Colton, California to Virgil Mark and Martha Opal Robinett. He passed away on November 23, 2023, in Owasso at 84.

Forrest found early success in the grocery store business in southern California. In 1961, while managing a Von's Grocery he met Judy.  They were married in Oct. 1962. They lived in Walnut, California, and had two daughters Robyn and Rocky. In 1972 they desired a change of pace and bought a 160-acre farm in Tryon, OK. Then in 1978, they welcomed their son Regan.

In 1985, Forrest moved to Norman, OK and his knack of never knowing a stranger helped him succeed in the car business. He was a tireless worker and went above and beyond for his customers even after he retired.

Forrest cherished his children and granddaughters. He will be greatly missed and his family will cherish the many stories they have of their time with Forrest.

Forrest was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Opal; brother Richard Robinett; and daughter Robyn Robinett.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Rocky and Scot Kee and their daughter Bailey, his son and daughter-in-law Regan and Jennifer Robinett, and their daughters Ava and Kaitlyn and his first wife Judy Craycraft who was the mother of his three children.
