Ernestean R. Warden

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 7, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, OK.

Ernestean Warden, of Tuttle, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 84.  She was born March 7, 1937 in Amber, Oklahoma to Ernest and Lillie (Givens) Roberts.

Ernestean grew up in the Tuttle area where she attended Tuttle schools and was a star basketball player during her high school years.  She married John Warden and they made their home in Amarillo, Texas.

In 1972 John passed away and she and the boys moved back to Tuttle that same year.  She had worked at Hagger Slacks in Oklahoma City and was a cook for Gary Dale BBQ when she retired after 25 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lillie Roberts; husband, John Warden; Sisters: Leah Garrett and Linda Pearl Conner and a brother, Edward Roberts.

Ernestean is survived by her children:

Jeffrey Don Ferguson and his wife, Jackie;

Stanley Wayne Ferguson and his wife, Shelly;

Jimmy Ray Ferguson and his wife, Marla;

Grandchildren:

Jeffrey Austin Ferguson and wife, Chelsey; Chad Ferguson and wife, Jennifer;

Candy Hulsey and husband, Grant; Mindy Porter and husband, Ronnie; and Heather Mercer;

Jessie Ferguson and wife, Jennifer; Justin Ferguson; and Jonathan Ferguson and wife, Seryna;

9 Great Grandchildren;

Sisters: Loretta Dayton and Annabelle Box;

Brothers: Wilmer Roberts and wife, Jackie; and Raymond Roberts and wife Jenny;

Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle, OK.
