The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Family Visitation will be on April 29, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Elnora J Rock of Chickasha, OK, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the age of 85. She was born December 28, 1936, in Escondido, California to Rufus and Jiggs (Gibson) Barbee.

Elnora grew up in Chickasha and attended Chickasha schools, after graduating she attended OCW. She met her husband, Vincent N. Rock Jr., in 1957 in Chickasha at a college dance. They were married that same year, and had two children together, Richard Gregory (Greg) Rock and Margaret Ann (Peggy) Rock. They moved around quite a bit living in Nebraska, California, Arizona, Texas, and Oklahoma, they returned to Chickasha in 1995 where they spent the rest of their lives. Elnora was a homemaker and volunteered as a museum docent. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, doing crafts, camping with her family, cooking, working in the garden, and especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Elnora was a faithful attendee of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent N. Rock Jr.; parents, Rufus and Jiggs Barbee; brother, Thomas Barbee; and daughter, Peggy (Rock) Carrier.

Elnora is survived by her son, Greg Rock; son-in-law, Rick Carrier; grandchildren, Alex, Amber, Jordan, and Jacob; and 7 great-grandchildren; 3 nieces; as well as many other loved ones.
