Edsel Leon Pool

Edsel Leon Pool , 73, was born February 27, 1943 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Edsel Pool and Margaret Warlick.  He went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 6, 2016.  He married Patricia Hawthorn on December 31, 1966.  From this union two children were born, Gary and Devida.

Edsel was a lifelong resident of Chickasha and was a professional truck driver and oilfield employee for 55 years.  He enjoyed riding his Big Dog Chopper and teaching his grandson, Tanner, about driving a truck and the places they drove through.

Edsel enjoyed cutting up and teasing his many nieces and nephews.  He was known for being able to predict if the child to be born was to be a boy or girl by wrapping his arms around the mother, and he was always right.  Edsel was loved by each and every one, Hawthorn, Pool and Warlick alike, but the joys of his life were Tucker and Joslyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Margaret and Perry Warlick and Juanita Pool; brother, Gary Dale Pool; sister, Lisa Pool; and niece, Tammy Pool; Father-in-law, Herman Hawthorn; Mother-in-law, Levida Arnold and Bert; Brother and sisters-in-law; Jimmy Hawthorn, Barbara Fish, and Pamla Jaques.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Pool;
Children: Gary and Debbie Pool, of Alex, OK;Devida Marie Pool of Chickasha, OK;

Grandchildren:  Sierra and Josh Leatherwood of Chickasha, OK;
Cody Pool of Gainesville, TX; Tanner Pool of Chickasha, OK;

Great Grandchildren:  Tucker and Joslyn Leatherwood of Chickasha, OK;

Father, Edsel Pool of Moore, OK;

Siblings:  Patricia and Joe Satterwhite; Louise Dresser and Jay Davis; Belinda and Terry Horstkoetter; Jimmy Pool, Ronnie Pool, Pete and Kathy Warlick; Larry Warlick, Ronnie and Shelly Warlick; Donnie and Teresea Warlick; Sammy and Judy Hawthorn; Neal and Katherine Hawthorn; Kim and Janet Hawthorn; Ricky Hawthorn, Janell and Frank Ludwell; and Kay and Randy Williams.

and one special cousin, Betty Jean Pool Ford.
