Dorothy Maybell Wright

Dorothy Maybell Wright, 87, of Norman, OK, passed away on December 2, 2022, at her home in Norman, OK. Dorothy was born April 8, 1935, in Tuttle, Oklahoma to Richard and Eunice Witt.

Dorothy grew up in the Tuttle area and met the love of her life, Jimmy Wright, in Minco, Oklahoma. They moved around the Oklahoma City metro area together and lovingly had 6 children, Jimmy Leon Wright, Patricia Coats, Brenda Smith, Jeff Wright, Violet Wright, and Richard Wright. They eventually settled in Norman, Oklahoma where Dorothy lived until her passing. She loved working at different flea markets, and loved going to garage sales, she especially loved to go fishing with her husband, Jimmy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Witt Sr. and Eunice Witt; son, Jimmy Leon Wright; sister, Ella Mae Roberts; brother, Richard Witt Jr.

Dorothy is survived by her children; Patricia Coats, Brenda Smith, Jeff Wright, Violet Wright, and Richard Wright, 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
